Notorious New York Women – some of the most fascinating women who have made New York their home. Eliza Jumel, Madame Restell, Victoria Woodhull, Typhoid Mary, Mae West and Mrs. Frank Leslie.

Lola Montez: Her Life and Times - Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets’ ran the song.  With her beauty and charm she won the hearts of most of the crowned heads of Europe, particularly Ludwig I of Bavaria. Lola could do anything with the king but the king had trouble doing anything with Lola who caused riots among the students fraternities and society. Once expelled from Bavaria, and with her reputation in tatters throughout Europe, Lola left to conquer the New World, America and Australia.

Royal Mistresses of the 17th and 18th Century – Madame de Montespan, Barbara Palmer, Nell Gwynn, Madame Pompadour, and Madame Barry.

African-American Women Artists: Edmonia Lewis, Billie Holiday, Josephine Baker, Nella Larsen and Zora Neal Hurston.

From Commoner to Royalty – a look at some of the commoners both historical and contemporary who have changed the face of monarchy.

The Grand Horizontales – the lives of some of the most infamous courtesans of the 19th Century.

I have spoken at conferences in New York and Mexico, and to groups ranging from the New York chapter of Romance Writers of America to We Move Forward. In addition, I was featured in the H2's series HOW SEX CHANGED THE WORLD, and an episode of the Travel Channel's MONUMENT MYSTERIES, chatting about Lola Montez
